Penny was recommended to Cashplus to help with an office migration and was invaluable with her input and advise. Penny is straight talking, but offers sound, honest and descriptive advice that has saved Cashplus thousands of pounds in time, effort and materials. Her attitude to her client relationship is exemplary, equally she takes no prisoners with contractors or consultants alike, ensuring that as her client, our best interest are at heart.
We have another, much larger project starting in the new year for which we will again be engaging Penny to manage on our behalf. I can’t recommend her enough and would be happy to endorse her work with any prospective clients that she may have in the future.
WaterAid worked with Penny Jones of Fuse Project Consultants in 2019 on our property move project. Penny provided property expertise during the latter stages of our property selection process and oversaw all technical due diligence on our shortlisted leasehold properties. Penny also supported the project team until completion of the lease negotiations to ensure any factors picked up during the technical due diligence phase were addressed to minimise future risk for WaterAid. Penny showed herself to be competent, extremely diligent and committed to ensuring we secured the best outcome for WaterAid. Her no nonsense and direct style helped us to also keep pace.
In August 2019, CANCOM relocated to a new London HQ and Fuse was our immediate go to partner to help us relocate and to manage our exit from our current building, including advice on dilapidations. Our relocation was extremely fast track and we managed to fit out and move into 7,500sqft within 5 weeks.
I have no hesitation in recommending Fuse to any future clients who are looking for a project manager to provide full consultancy services & lead and manage a design team in order to facilitate an office re-location.
The challenge for this project was to keep the College operational for as long as possible. The College, unlike other HE establishments, doesn’t close for the summer period and therefore the challenge was to keep the project on track, in a live operational environment. The works were phased and the College was decanted for only 6 weeks of the 8 month project. Sectional completion of the first phase was hugely time critical to enable the College to reopen. This was achieved thanks largely to Penny’s project management.
Equally, Penny has had a real task to manage the Project costs as the funding for the project was split between the Landlord and Kaplan. Penny has had to justify and manage the spend on both the ‘base build’ and ‘refurbishment’ elements separately.
Working with Penny has been a pleasure, her commitment to professionalism is outstanding. I have used other companies before but never received the service she has provided for us.
It is difficult when talking to contractors about issues that need addressing but so much easier with Penny involved. Whilst I only got involved during the last 6 months of the project, it was a pleasure to work with Penny and should we ever have to go through another refurbishment/build I would highly recommend Fuse’s services.
